I am unable to open individual emails in Apple Mail App

I get this message when I try to open any gmails in the Apple Mail App.

what’s going on?

Remove/Add Account:

There is an error connecting to Google's mail servers. So, remove the account, and then add it back.

  1. Go here: Set up Gmail with a third-party email client | gmail help | Google
  2. Scroll to: Set up Gmail with Apple Mail
  3. Click: Set up Gmail with the Mail mobile app
  4. Proceed form there as necessary
