My mail app has disappeared from IPhone 12 max. When I reload it won’t open my iCloud mail and says already on my phone. What happened? Why did the app fall off my phone in the first place?

My Mail app has disappeared from my phone. When I download it back on it wants me to add my iCloud account but then tells me it is already on my phone….I can not access my mail from the app or from the web web when I go into iCloud.com

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble accessing your iCloud Mail on the iPhone and from iCloud.com.

What happens when you try to enable Mail from the iCloud settings on your iPhone? You can try by going to Settings> [Your Name] > iCloud.
