Disable "exploding window view" ?

In response to some unknown input sequence, the Mac OS desktop display "explodes" and puts windows all over the place like shrapnel.

How do I stop this.

Thank you.

I don't know how I am accidentally invoking it, but it appears the purpose is to let the user see all open windows at once. Everything spreads out so you can see all the windows, while at the same time shrinking the windows so there is actually room for them on the screen.

I can imagine why someone would want this feature, but I don't want it happening by accident while I am in the middle of something.

I think it is coming from Mission Control, but I'm not seeing anything under there that fits the bill, and I have "hot corners" disabled. It is not the "application windows" command to show all windows from the current application. That seems to be something different.

I found out how to reproduce an issue. While dragging a window, if the window gets too close to the top edge of either monitor, then the display redraws dramatically to show all open windows, in miniature size, scattered all over the viewable space.

This isn't "hot corners" and doesn't seem to be anything else in mission control. Any thoughts on what it is and how to disable it?

Thank you!
