[iOS 14.8] "No Service" after the update.

Hello,

Just updated my iPhone XS to iOS 14.8, and after a successful update, it seems like my phone has lost the cellular data (No Service) never had such an issue with previous updates till now.

I have tried the following: https://support.apple.com/en-il/HT201415

As well as completely resetting my phone, unfortunately, it didn't help!

Additionally, I own an iPad Pro 11inch 2nd generation which has been also updated to the latest iPadOS 14.8, I tried to use my sim with it, but it has the same general issue, No Service

I have the same problem. Approximately 3 PM yesterday my phone started saying “no Sim”, I went through all the steps to try to get it to read it, I have a new Sim card in it now and it still will not connect to the net work stating “no SIM”.

Replacing to the completely new sim, fixed my problem.

Hey, Apple. It's not solved. "Get the new SIM card" is not the solution. For example I'm on vacation in another country and can't get new SIM. You have to actually do something!
