Storage on MAC Book Pro

The storage on my MAC is almost entirely taken up by "system". I have tried with clean my mac but I still have 87GB out of 121 then up by "system" data. how do I delete that?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Try something like OmniDiskSweeper for a GUI to get a good look at itemized file size and location:

If no insight or resolve —you can get a good look at your drive structure using the Terminal.app copy & paste:

diskutil list internal
