Ipad replacement product

I just had my iPad repaired under AppleCare, and it’s only less than 2 weeks old when the front got a crack. Now I’m wondering, am I receiving my original ipad or getting a “new” one as it’s said a replacement product has been shipped. Or is it a refurbished one? TIA!

Devices replaced under AppleCare+ are often reconditioned items - but will be “equivalent” to a new device. If a reconditioned iPad of the identical model and specification is not available, the replacement may be “new”.
