Hello Frankart6,

We see you're having some trouble connecting to Wi-Fi since updating to iOS 14.8 and understand wanting to get this issue resolved. We'll be happy to assist you with this.

You can learn more about the proper steps to take when this happens here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

We hope this helps.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Have a good one!

Try this:

Go to Settings->Wi-Fi, tap the "(i)" info icon beside the network that has problems, and turn off "Private Address".

On my iOS 14.8 system it looked like the update automatically enabled this option, and the device would not connect to a WiFi access point that limits connections to known MAC addresses. Maybe your office has that WiFi security enabled.

I only saw the Private Address setting after I used "Reset Network" instructions I found elsewhere. Not sure it was the original cause of the problem. It would have been nice if Apple mentioned this issue somewhere.

I updated to 14.8 and now I am having wifi issues
