MagSafe v Qi cases and chargers
Howdy! Is there any benefit to having a MagSafe case if I just have a Qi charger?
in not really sure how magsafe cases/chargers work in tandem with Qi accessories.
thank you for any help!

Hello H0rnsD0wn,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand you are asking about our MagSafe cases and if it will work with your Qi charger.

Okay, thank you! Will it have the benefits of MagSafe charging over Qi charging if I just use a MagSafe case and not a MagSafe charger?
I really appreciate the help!
The iPhone MagSafe scheme magnetically couples an attachment and the iPhone.
MagSafe permits Qi wireless charging at a higher wattage (15W; newer Qi version) when charging when coupled with a “Made for MagSafe” charger.
“MagSafe compatible” chargers operate at 7.5W and this using an older and lower-power version of Qi.
Non-charging MagSafe magnetically-coupled gadgets are also available.
A MagSafe case doesn’t block MagSafe attachments from coupling with the iPhone.
