I dropped my iPad and the corner has a small chip is that covered on my apple care? Ive only had the iPad for less than 3 months

If no paid, extended, two-year AppleCare+, then no.

If your iPad HAS paid, extended, two-year AppleCare+, then YES, with a small repair/replacement device fee of $49 U.S.D..
