iOS 14.8 update froze my phone. 12 pro
The update froze about 1/5 of the way on the apple logo and won't move. Its been like this for 3 hours and I cannot hard reset my phone or do anything. what do I do?

That is not the forced restart procedure on an iPhone 12. Press the volume up button and quickly release it, then immediately press the volume down button and release it then immediately hold in the side button until the solid Apple logo appears, then let go of the side button.
