I get the message - The requested version of macOS is not available.- In app store says its eligible to receive this update. I'm updating from the last version form Catalina.

Now tell us exactly which mac you have and its year.

I'm trying to upgrade to Big Sur 11.5.2
I have Catalina 10.15.7
In the app store says that I can upgrade - The preferences tells me that I have a mid 2012 - although I bought it in 2015.
DVD, only a audio out, in.
Why do I get the green light from app store but then I get the error message.

when the mac was purchased has no bearing on which is the model year. my current iMac is a 2019 model even though i bought it in late spring 2020.
You are not telling us what update this is, or what mac exactly you have.
Updates can appear with some delay, as they are deployed to servers around the world.
Give it a little more time.
It's from mid 2012.
I know what I will have for xmas ;)
