New MacBook Pro is not able to play videos on PowerPoint presentation
We have noticed that all new MacBook Pro computers that we have purchased for our users are not able to play videos on power point. The users can hear the sound but we get a white box. So far this has happened with all the new Mac's that we have purchased, the power point works fine for all our other mac users except for the new ones and works fine on windows. We have upgraded them to the latest OS version to see if that was the issue but same result. We also checked to make sure that Office365 was updated to latest version which was also true. I cant seem to find any information on this or see other users having this issue. so far the "fix" is to convert the video from .MP4 to .MOV but we cant have our users convert every single video from previous power points when they work perfectly fine for everyone else. does anyone know why this is happening? i am attaching a picture of the specs that we are getting for the new Mac's. I have yet to see if this is an issue with the Mac's with the M1 chip but these specs seem to be the ones having the issue. we have other users with i7 and 16 GB of ram with no issue, the only difference i have noticed so far is the Graphics card.
