Latest Security Update from Apple
I have a perfectly good 15' MacBook Pro (Mid June 2010) running High Sierra (which I understand cannot be updated) - is there a way to apply the latest security update?

If you want added security both Malwarebytes and Avast offer continued updates to security that can help systems running High Sierra.

No. There is no way to apply the latest security update to that version – High Sierra – of the macOS.
High Sierra is no longer supported by Apple and will not be receiving security updates, barring some catastrophic vulnerability that Apple feels strongly about patching. Not likely.
Thank you - I shall try to install one or the other
Kind of figured that but I was hoping, if a security issue, Apply would have considered "obsolete" but perfectly good machines and developed a patch.
Thanks for responding
