Why is google chrome no longer avilable on the app store?

I recently had to take my MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2016) to an Apple Authorized provider to have diagnostics run on it because it wouldn't start up after I attempted to update the system to Big Sur. I've since had it returned, and it's functional now, but the data was wiped from the machine (no biggie, I don't really care because I have everything I care about stored on iCloud), but upon redownloading a bunch of the apps that I used previously, I noticed that Google Chrome isn't available on the App Store for MacOS.

Is this something that is going to continue? Is it an issue between the interests of Google and Apple? Will Google be made available again in the future? I use Google chrome for literally everything because I hate the way Safari functions and looks. I don't want to have to use Safari forever.

Google Chrome is available at the developers website, as it always has been.

Google Chrome for macOS (from their servers.) A download for macOS 10.11.6 & Later:

• Google Chrome - Download the Fast, Secure Browser from Google

https://www.google.com/chrome/

[•Explore: Google tools] https://www.google.com/chrome/browser-tools/

An iOS Google Chrome browser app is for iPhone and iPad only, from App Store:

Also a 'chrome-like' browser for macOS is available from Brave.

Said to be 3x faster than Chrome. Fast/private with Adblocker.

• Brave Browser:

[Not certain of 'evolving compatibility' with newest macOS.]
