Iphone order and pickup

I would like to purchase an iPhone and pick it up this weekend. I noticed that when I go to the pick up from store option, it doesn't allow you to set pickup date. It just says available tomorrow. If I ordered the iPhone now, and it was ready for pickup tomorrow, would my store still hold on to it until the weekend when I can pick it up?

How long will Apple hold an iPhone order for store pick up? I want to buy the new Iphone 14 Pro Max and pick it up at a store in Orlando. I don't live in that city. Pick up iPhone 14 Pro. Is it possible to order my iPhone 14 for pick up, but pick it up at a later date than listed. It says I can pick it up Monday but is it possible to pick it up around Thursday?
