Lost apple watch

HI

I lost my apple watch 2 weeks ago (so it's obviously dead) and i went to the location on the find my app where it last has been seen but it is not there. Is it possible to track it any other way ?

Also i put my watch on lost mode but no one has reached out to me yet so does it mean that it's still outside somewhere? And what happens if someone finds it and decides to reset it, will i get a notification or something ?
