Any fix for a screen that doesn't react to touch?

Anyone know why a iPhone would stop reacting to you touching the screen?

If nothing (cover or screen protector) is obstructing your touch screen (should be this case, remove it/them), try a forced restart of your device:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support

If the issue persists, make an appointment and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector

After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
