Security Code to get into Instagram

My Instagram security keeps asking me for a code to get into my account. It sends code to my phone,but it wont accept the 6 digit code they sent me.

iPhone 8, iOS 14

Instagram got hacked So my Instagram account got hacked and there was the two way authentication method that my Apple password has but the codes that it’s popping up with aren’t working. Is there a reason why or am I just out of luck here?
