Using 2 iPhones with different numbers

I have an iPhone 7.

I recently bought a used iPhone 6s as a secondary phone. It has its own SIM.

I want to use one for work and another for home use.

How do I go about setting up the second iPhone so that I don’t end up having to buy apps, subscriptions once again? Can that be done?

if I use same Apple ID that may create weirdness with calls, iMessage, sync issues…

Hi p24stone,

It looks like you're wondering about sharing purchases with another Apple ID. If that's correct, you can do this after setting up Family Sharing.

I don’t want to repurchase stuff on the secondary iPhone but I also don’t want weird sync issues with the different SIM if I use same Apple ID.

family Sharing is free for few subs.

I guess I will have to pay more to keep things not turning messy.
