Apple TV+ doesn't save my spot when I pause a show to watch later.

I’ve been enjoying the show For All Mankind lately. Whenever I pause the show to either watch later or switch to a different tv, it never saves my spot. Other times this question was asked, the advice was just to make sure all the apps are updated. All my devices are up to date as are my apps. I’ve watched on my LG tv, my Samsung tv, and my MacBook Pro and it doesn’t save my spot ever. Is there anything that can be done to fix it?
