IPhone 13 Pro Max 5g mmwave support in Australia

Hi there,

I'm reading various articles about this currently and it would seem that iPhone 13 sold in Australia won't have any 5g mmwave support, only the US models will. Was looking forward to buying the pro max and using for next 4-5 years atleast but if the above is correct then might have to skip it and upgrade to latest Samsung phone instead. Can someone please confirm? And if I buy from Apple US via Ebay or other store is there still a warranty provided by Apple Australia? Thanks.

Yes, mmWave support is only available on iPhones sold in the U.S.

If you buy an American model from Ebay, the warranty will only be valid in the U.S. And there is no guarantee it will work with the mmWave frequencies in Australia once they are available.
