Car play navigation no sound

I searched this up as I was having trouble yesterday with no guidance voice on the navigation .

I checked and my phone was still working fine and the settings were all correct.

I saw a few people had the same problem

I played around a bit today and it was a simple fix.

on CarPlay you can only adjust the voice guidance volume when it is speaking .

so when the guidance message comes up or at the start adjust the volume .

not a fault just something that might catch you out

in my case this was it so just hoping it may help a few others

ios 16.0.2 carplay issues with Hyundai Ever since I downloaded 16.0.2 I have not been able to get Car play. I changed my cord and still nothing. Gapless looped playback not working after iOS/iPadOS 16.2 update I am using the Apple Music app on both my iPhone XS and iPad Pro 10.5". When I set the playback mode to "Repeat 1" and listen to any track that should loop seamlessly (for example, a continuous rain sound), there is a 1 second gap when the track restarts. This obviously ruins the experience - can anyone else reproduce this? The problem didn't occur prior to iOS/iPadOS 16.2. Things I have tried that make no difference to the problem: Using AirPods vs built-in speakers Disabling Lossless Audio Disabling Sound Check I noticed that if I manually scrub forward to the end of the track, it repeats without a gap. But of course that isn't helpful.
