Help with opening apps that are known to me but not apple.

What if in my system preferences, it doesn't give me an option for "open anyway"? How do I allow my mac to open the app.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.5

Control-click on the app in the Applications folder, from the submenu select Open.

You will see a dialogue box 'this app is from an unidentified developer', press Open anyway.

You only need to do this once for each app, the mac will remember the next time you want to

open these apps and open them straight away.
