Ipad 8th Gen looping

Hi, My iPad has gone into a loop mode after recently updating to ios 14.8. what can I do? When I went to the store, they told me they failed to hard reset it. this problem clearly shows that it's a software issue. Please advise.

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due do lots of calls. And this makes sense, because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

Were you updating your iPad when this got stuck in a loop?
