Crossfade songs in macOS Apple Music not working with streamed or “added” songs.
I want to crossfade songs I’ve “added” from Apple Music in a playlist but it’s not working.
Do I need to download the songs to my Mac to get this to work?

Thanks for taking the time to post in the Apple Support Communities. We understand that crossfading isn't working as expected, so we'd like to share a resource with you. Be sure you're following the steps outlined here: Fade between songs in Music on Mac. Keep in mind, "When Music plays consecutive tracks from the same album, crossfading is automatically turned off, with no fading between the songs (or tracks)".
