Why does my mail take so long to open (45 seconds)? Apple iCloud mail folder is empty. Desktop and documents are being stored in iCloud.

Make an account active or inactive. When you disable an account (make it inactive), it’s taken offline; the account’s mailboxes and messages don’t appear in Mail.
