can i take my mac pro on plane?

Mac Pro silver tower desktop computer weighs 42 lbs. if you take it on a plane, you would get no other luggage.


If you meant to ask about MacBook Pro, then yes, BUT: you may be asked to boot up to show that it is a "real" computer -- its insides can not be seen on X-Ray.


If you do not have a separate Trusted disk-based backup at home in case it gets lost or stolen, you are making a BIG Mistake. Be sure your MacBook Pro is shown on the Find My Mac page in case you need that as well.


If the 2015 15-in model, for a while it was prudent to carry a copy of the repair order from battery replacement, or show that it was not an affected model by entering your serial number in the recall article, and print the "not qualified" document that resulted.
