Call button when clicking telephone number

Hi,

Recently switched to iPhone, hope someone can explain to me how to save a number..

When I click a telephone number on a website it gives me the option to call it. But sometimes I don't want to call it, I want to copy the number or save the number.

Why can't I get an option to do so?

I understand I can call it, hang up and save from my list, but the person will get a missed call, something I do not want.

Hope there is a solution for this. Kinda disappointed in Apple that I have to post this question about this issue.
