I am trying to setup a Mac mini with a Vizio VW32L television. The resolution of the TV is 1366X768. I can not see the top menu bar and overscan is not an option when looking under display. The correct name of the TV is listed under About this Mac, but the display resolution is list as 1280X760. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Go to Apple > System Preferences > Display > hold the Alt (option) key and click on the Scaled button.
If the correct resolution it not offered, then you need to go to the TV's Menu and select a different Picture size.

Look again in the TVs menu.
It can be called any number of things (Picture Size, Screen Size, Aspect Ratio 4:3, 16:9, etc...)
It may also require changing both the TVs setting and then the iMac's Resolution to get where you need to be.
Holding Alt and clicking the scaled button gave me more options for screen resolution, unfortunately, not the resolution of my TV. The TV menu unfortunately also gives no options in the menu to change picture size (it is a very old HD TV). Thanks for the tip, I expect it will help someone.
Looked again, but sadly, none of those options are available under general settings, video settings and advanced video settings (tried to screenshot, but didn't pick up the TV menu). Thanks again...likely helpful to someone else, but unfortunately, not this old TV.
Sorry, resolution is listed as 1280X720 under about this Mac.
