MacBook Air speaker stopped working

My MacBook Air speaker stopped working. Cannot start it even with a computer restart, bluetooth disable, mute-unmute speaker from system preferences. Please help.

  • If you're able to hear sound from your speakers while in safe mode, continue with the steps in the section titled, 'If the issue doesn't continue in safe mode'.
  • If you're still unable to hear from your speakers while in safe mode, try running diagnostics on your Mac to check for possible hardware-related issues: Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac
