Cannot connect to app store

Hello,


Having trouble accessing the app store on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports). It won't allow me to search for new apps/games but I can update my currently installed apps so I know that it's not the connection. I have restarted my computer and nothing. Wondering if I can reinstall?
