How do I delete pages that have opened on I phone just got it so a real newb

Give the top of the browser page a tap near the time display, check the bottom of the screen for an open pages icon, should access your History.
If you have data to spare, there’s an iPhone Manual on the App Store which will give you an idea of how to do things (though it’s 1400+ pages long ):)).
