USB SuperDrive

I have attached a relatively new SuperDrive to my iMac, I can hear it trying to work but it is not coming up in Finder so that I can't eject a DVD I just put in. How can I eject it?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.5

Apple USB SuperDrive It’s not showing up on the desktop or in the finder of my brand new 2020 MacBook Pro. I’ve restarted computer and am using a working USB-C to USB adapter. Afraid to slip in a cd as there’s no way to eject it on the drive itself.

I have connected an Apple Superdrive, through a Multiport Adapter, to my new IMac. It doesn't show up in my Finder, and there is no eject button on my computer. How do I eject the disc? I can't eject a disc from my Superdrive, which is connected to my IMac desktop. There is no eject button on my computer, and the Superdrive isn't showing up in my Finder. I have tried re-starting the computer, no luck. I also tried Command E. I've searched online and haven't found any help there either.
