My new macbook pro A2338 won't turn on. Last night I used it for the first time, and migrated files from my old macbook air as instructed. Today my new macbook pro won't turn on.
Any ideas. I've tied holding down touch ID button for 10 seconds. I've tried Shift+Control+mOption+power on.
No sign of life.

I think it's a hardware related issue, you'd better make Genius Bar reservation if your local retail Apple Store is open or find opened your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro before 1 year limited warranty is expired.

Thanks Kaz-k. You were right. It was the power cable from the adaptor to my MacBook. Incredible that a brand new $2,000 laptop has a faulty power cable. I'm really surprised that Apple doesn't test for faulty power cable! Maybe Apple should move their manufacturing from China to Vietnam? Vietnam has such a strong focus on quality.
