All files are marked as quarantined after motherboard replacement

Hello! I've just picked up my Mac Air 2020 (Retina) from an authorised re:store service centre. The motherboard had been replaced due to some technical problems. Now, the Mac cannot open any saved files or files downloaded from the internet. The error is as following: "FileName is damaged. You should move it to the Bin." (The files I try to open are checked and definitely not malicious; I've created them myself on the same Mac, and they open and work ok on other devices). I already tried

xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine

and it works, but it's kinda **** to remove quarantine flags manually from every file on the lap and from every file I'll download later. Maybe somebody knows how to solve this problem once and forever?

Had you backups of system prior to repair, those may be useful now.

Time Machine, automatically saves backups to external USB drives.

[Too late maybe for previous lapse. There are various user accounts

and ACLs, etc that may have been corrupted. Or they didn't fix it.]

• Back up your files with Time Machine on Mac - Apple Support

Be sure the external is dedicated solely to Time Machine, and 4x the

capacity of internal system drive. And also have at least two other

backup methods. 'Incremental Clones', such as "CarbonCopy-cloner"

are examples from Bombich utility. or SuperDuper! may also be OK.

None of these methods should run from the main system drive.

And should be fully external to the Machine being backed up.

Hopefully someone in a different time zone than me, isn't

looking here at 3:20AM with no sleep &/or alotta coffee.
