Lightning connector adaptor to USB-C

I'm using an Ipad Air 4th Gen. Can I use my iPhone headphones to my Ipad using a lightning connector adaptor to USB-C? I tried using it but it's not working. Any suggestions what I can use?

No, you cannot use your Lightning Headphone Adapter with your iPad-4. Lightning and USB-C are entirely different interfaces - and are not inter-workable.


You can however use a USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter:
