Updates on MacBook Pro

I'm not able to update or upgrade my MacBook Pro. Receiving error message that network connection is lost even when I am still connected.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.14

See if there is anything here: If an error occurred while updating or installing macOS


In General—

Disable any VPN or Proxy servers you are using

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus

Power Cycle your router

Do a safe boot if necessary  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
