MacOS: Install ManageEngine via Intune

MacBook Pro/Big Sur. We are attempting to install the third-party ManageEngine Agent (.pkg) via Intune as a line of business app. We've used the Intune App Wrapping tool but have not found a configuration that results in a successful install. We can manually install the .pkg installer without issue, just can't push via Intune.

Devices are effectively personal devices and not using device configurator or any other management solution other than Intune.

Can't imagine we are the only group that has run across this - curious if anyone has found a working config.

Hello LockApple,

It sounds as though you’re attempting to use Microsoft Intune to push a management profile to your peers MacBook Pro devices. Apple Support Communities is a great place for help!

If you’re having issues with sharing content using Microsoft Intune, or feature within that application/software. Reaching out to the developer is the right course of action. You can find support for Microsoft Intune via the following link.

Microsoft Intune Documentation

How to get support in Microsoft endpoint Manager admin center

If you’re having a different issue may we have a more detailed explanation of what’s going on? Please include any error messages you may be seeing, and where you’re attempting to install or access the installed software.

We look forward to your response!
