Has anyone had the same issue as I have when playing a playlist that has over 2 hours of music on it, the homepods shutting off on its own? I don't believe it's the homepods themselves. Now when I listen to Apple's Radio station, it doesn't shut off until I tell it. It seems to happen when listening to a playlist or all songs in the Apple music library.

Try updating to iOS 15 to see if this gets fixed, install the updates on the iOS device you used to set HomePod up with as well.
Other than that it might be your wifi disconnecting. Rebooting the wifi might help and you can always tell it to resume the music
Thanks for the response. I updated my iPhone 12Pro, iPad, and iMac to the IOS 15. Then I rebooted the router. I'm testing it now as I'm writing this email. So far so good. I'm into about an hour and 15 mins of a 6 hour playlist. I'll let you know if it plays through.
One weird thing that happened was...My set is I have a pair of Homepods in my living room, a pair of Homepod minis in my office and a pair of minis in my bedroom. When I updated to the IOS 15, both sets of Homepod minis did not work. I had to ungroup them and add them again. The pair of Homepods in the living room I didn't have to do that. Strange.....
Well I got 4 &1/2 of 6 hours of continuous play before it shut off on its own.
