Can I trade in an iphone I still owe on through T-Mobile?

I have an iphone 11 pro max and owe several hundred on it through tmobile installments.

Can I trade it in to apple and get credit towards an iphone 13? Or am I not allowed to since its not paid off?

I would be paying off the rest of my 11 + the payments for the 13. Wondering if this is possible. Thanks

Nope. You borrowed money from T-Mobile and you owe them what you agreed to pay them. You will have to pay off the balance you owe, then you can trade your phone. Just like you would have to pay off the loan on a car or the mortgage on a house.
