Australia Post tracking number provided by Apple is invalid, item is due for delivery tomorrow on my Apple account. Why isn’t the tracking number working?

Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you’re excited to receive your new Apple products, and you’re concerned because the tracking number you received isn’t returning any information. The Delivery & Pick-up - Shopping Help page from the Apple website may answer assuage some of your concerns.
It looks like the tracking number is generated as your item prepares to ship, but it won’t become activate until the carrier has picked it up. If you chose same day delivery, it may not become active until tomorrow.
That being said, it’s been awhile since you posted. If the tracking number hasn’t activated yet, we encourage you to log into the Self Service portal and check for order details.
