Airtags stopped working with iOS15 update

Hey guys,


I upgraded to iOS15 last night and now all of my Airtags have disappeared from my profile. They are not listed in the Find My app. (I did get a warning though that I'm being followed by an unknown Airtag as if my Airtags belonged to someone else).


I did a factory reset on one of the Airtags and tried to re-add it to my profile. My iPhone 12 Pro picked it up immediately but then spat out an error "Could not connect to Airtag" as soon as I tried to give it a name. Thought the Airtag might be faulty so I factory reset another one and same issue.


I saw this was coming up as a bug in the Beta but thought it would have been fixed for the final release.

Anyone had this issue and know how to fix it?

I seem to have solved the problem with the age-old "Switch it off then on again" method. Turned off the iPhone, waited a few seconds, turned it back on and the Airtags were back in Find My and I could add the factory reset tag again.
