To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to know. If a genuine battery was used, it would just show as 100% capacity when new and say the battery is healthy. The only way you could know is if they used a non-OEM battery to replace an old battery. Then, you wouldn't get any info on the battery health, and the phone would nag you about there being a non-Apple (genuine) battery installed.
