My company has asked that we update our iphones to version 14.8 immediately, due to security risks. I have an iphone 6 with software version 12.5.4, and no updates available. How do I update and/or is my phone safe as is?

1. An unit running 12.5.4 isn't capable of 13 or above.

2. If you're referring to the recent Pegasus hole, it isn't affected. Otherwise, tell the company's IT department.

You are safe. The threat was for iOS 13 and 14.
