Apple iPad 9th Generation Shipping

Hello! I ordered my iPad 9th Generation on the day of its release and was wondering around what day I would receive it. On the Apple website when I ordered it its says its ships on September 24 so is that the day I will receive it or is that when it leaves the warehouse? It is shipping to Missouri and as stated earlier I ordered it on release day so when do you think it will arrive? I got a confirmation text from Apple but no emails. I am just worried because I expected to receive it in September but now if you go to the order page for iPad 9th Gen it goes as far out as October 13!
