How to delete "free space" partition on iMac

Long story short: i tried to install windows via bootcamp and it failed. I wanted my partition back but it also failed. I tried a few methods from different communities but nothing works.

On terminal diskutil now it shows "free space". I've tried everything (turned FireVault off, booting in safemode etc. ... The diskutility app also doesnt work.

I appreciate your help.

Greetings

iMac 27″, macOS 11.5

If you have two internal disks on your 2019 iMac, to install Bootcamp, these should be configured in a Fusion drive configuration, otherwise Bootcamp Assistant will not work. You can use resetFusion (How to fix a split Fusion Drive - Apple Support).

The following commands may need to be modified, if you reboot the iMac, which can re-order disks. Using the output you have posted, run

  • Disk0

diskutil eraseVolume free free disk0s3

  • Disk1

diskutil eraseVolume free free disk1s4

diskutil eraseVolume free free disk1s3

  • Post the output of

diskutil list

before we go further.
