Powerbook Duo AP1610-02 Memory Module capacity ?

This module has 16 chips and is used in the Duo 270c, 280c and 2300 model. What is the size capacity ??

Thanks for trying, but no joy - previously looked at all mentioned apple and extra memory pages and evidently have not stated the problem correctly.

Need to know the size in mbytes of the installed single slot memory module labeled "AP1610-02" The individual chips are NEC 4800 series on the example I have and that would indicate (guess) an 8meg memory module bringing the 270/280 duo machines to 12meg RAM installed.

So I guess the proper way to state the issue is: How can one determine the memory capacity of an Apple Duo memory module from the information on the module or from the numbers on the individual chips. No running machine is available to swap a module in and out to determine size, thought the part number would be adequate, but no where is there a listing of the capacity based on a part number.

Certain configurations of those chip-sets were affixed permanently; examples

of those, were in words; not images. What few bits of information were found.


Since there were ones constructed by and for Apple Computer; some could've

been third-party, or custom built to purpose. Lowendmac.com may have info.

Several reference sites have disappeared ~ their supporting economies ceased.
