No matter what I do the ringer volume gets extremely loud in my Tiguan to the point where I jump when the phone rings . I have tried everything I read on the internet and nothing works. I’ve have the phone blue toothed over to the car . This is extremely frustrating! Does anyone have an answer how to fix this ?

Since this is specific to being connected to your car, what we'd recommend is contacting Volkswagen to see if there are car-specific options to control the audio of the incoming ring. It is possible that the car's radio deck needs a firmware update to ensure compatibility.

We understand that you have some concerns with the ringer volume with your Tiguan. Are you able to adjust the volume of the ring while the call is incoming from the car's side of things? Also, have you confirmed the volume of your iPhone is normal when off Bluetooth? Adjust the volume on iPhone

Thanks for getting back to be. My fiancé is a Volkswagen tech he’s already called the corporate tech support. They said it’s my phone and to contact Apple. It’s so frustrating
When I get in the car I turn the ringer down and it automatically goes back up on its own. When a call comes in after I’ve Been startled I have to grab the phone and turn it down real fast. I also did everything with the volume on my Bluetooth settings and have it set at the lowest.
