i was on FaceTime and I was on FaceTime audio call and they sound that my audio was messed I tested my microphone on other apps and it’s not that how do I fix this is this fixable ?

Exact same issue here, I’d say 1 out of 3 FaceTime calls have garbled audio. A simple hang up and reconnect always resolves it.

Does this happen on Wi-Fi or when using cellular data? Does it happen in all locations? Does it happen with a specific contact or everyone?
Try the troubleshooting steps in the "If you have connection or sound quality issues with FaceTime" section of If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Bought a new iPad 9. Issue was that only when receiving calls on FT would it have distorted/metallic/reverb kind of sound…when making calls and on any other app using the mic&speaker no issues found. Took it back to store and it was tested, wiped and reinstalled. Initially solved the issue, but then a few days it did it again. Unit was swapped out for a new one…same issue. Clearly an issue with IOS15.01 and 15.02. Hope it’s resolved with newer updates.
I found the speaker set to far right. Reset to the middle and it worked
My daughter's phone is doing the same thing. It's doing it on both wifi and cell service. It's only happened since iOS15 update. If she adds someone else to the FaceTime, she can get audio for everyone, but if one person leaves, she has no audio again. I've tested it on calls out, and incoming calls. Speaker works, microphone works, headphones or AirPods give the same results, so it's not a speaker issue. I've reset FaceTime, restarted the phone multiple times, no resolve. Please help Apple. It's an iPhone 11.
Apparently this is a known issue with the latest update. I have been on Apple chat for an hour now they can't figure it out and want to schedule a call
I'm having the same issue. Only when I receive a FaceTime call, not when I initiate it. I called Tech Support, and they looked at all the diagnostics and they seem fine. Can't decide whether to return it, for a possible same result, or just wait it out for an update.
We are having the exact same problem the second she upgraded to ios15
None of those troubleshooting steps helped
I wish a reconnect solved my issue. It’s not garbled just extremely low volume.
Omg it worked! 90 minutes on the phone with Apple abs they couldn't figure it out!!!

It’s driving me crazy. Still happening and specifically with my Mom who’s almost 70 and has an iPhone 12 too.
Ive seen online they’re having a ton of problems with the new update 🤦🏼♀️
