Apple TV + app on tv

My Apple TV+ app worked and showed on my tv last night, as we watched couple shows. Today, the app has disappeared. What happened?

There never was an Apple TV+ app; there is an Apple TV app, that has an Apple TV+ Channel within it.

The TV app is protected against deletion on the Apple TV box, so it should always* be there. See if it has been moved accidentally to a different location on the home screen.

*One exception is if the active account on the box is for a country where no Apple video services are available. Then the app is hidden automatically.
